It looks like a little piece of jewellery and works like a proper ID tag. Cool on the outside, careful on the inside. If your dog ever gets carried away by the music and wanders off, the number on the back gets them home.

A little care keeps it looking lovely and keeps it readable.

• Wipe it gently. A soft, damp cloth is all it needs. Dry it afterwards, and skip harsh cleaners, alcohol and scrubbing.
• Take it off for bath time. Shampoo, grooming sprays, flea treatments and chlorine can dull the resin and the gold finish, so keep them apart.
• Click the ring shut. Make sure it closes fully when you attach it, and give it a quick look now and then.
• Check it every so often. Chewing, scratching and rough play can wear resin and engraving. If the number gets hard to read, it’s time for a fresh tag, so your dog can always be identified.
• Keep it out of heat. Hot cars and long spells in direct sun aren’t kind to resin.
• Consider taking it off at night if your dog sleeps or plays with other pets. Dangling tags can catch.
