Chonky Paws is operated by Muru and Co., based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. References to "we," "us," or "Chonky Paws" mean Muru and Co.

By accessing chonkypaws.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our site without written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the site
  • Impersonate Chonky Paws or any of our team members (including Chang, who has views on this)

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the site for anyone who violates these terms.

Products and pricing

We do our best to ensure all product descriptions, images, and prices on our website are accurate. However:

  • Product images are for illustration purposes. Slight colour variations may occur depending on your screen settings.
  • Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an order is placed at an incorrect price, we will notify you before processing and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
  • Product availability is subject to stock. We will notify you if an item you've ordered is unavailable.

Orders and payment

When you place an order on chonkypaws.com:

  • You are making an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us.
  • Payment is processed securely through Razorpay. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and other available methods.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.

Shipping

  • We ship across India. Free shipping on all orders.
  • Estimated delivery timelines are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation. These are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Chonky Paws is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.

Returns and refunds

We want you (and your pet) to be happy with every order.

  • You may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
  • To initiate a return, email us at contact@chonkypaws.com with your order number and reason.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
  • We do not accept returns on items that have been used, damaged after delivery, or returned outside the 7-day window.
  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. We'll make it right.

Intellectual property

Everything on chonkypaws.com — including the brand name, logo, product names, photography, copy, Chang's character, and the Red String Theory — is the intellectual property of Muru and Co.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Sharing our content on social media for non-commercial purposes is welcome — we'd love to see it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Chonky Paws and Muru and Co. shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our products or website
  • Loss of data, revenue, or goodwill
  • Any damage resulting from a pet's interaction with our products beyond normal, intended use

Our products are designed and tested for pet safety. However, all pets are different. We recommend supervising your pet during initial use of any new product. If you have concerns about a specific product's suitability for your pet, please consult your veterinarian.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any external sites.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
